Description
This is the fourth in the series of flower faeries. The idea is that each flower in these pictures has a meaning, and that the faeries shall somehow communicate that meaning. The meaning itself was invented by the Victorians, but these pictures are a bit more modern.
Also, the meaning of flowers shifted over time during the Victorian period, so I've had lots of options when choosing what to make of each flower.
Shamrock: Light-heartedness
Sharmrock is very much the summers of my childhood. They used to grow just around the corner of our summer house. A patch of them at the root of an old tree, just where the water dripped down from the roof of the outhouse when it rained. I used to eat a few of them just to feel "summery".
And no, the leaves are not shooting out from under her skirt, heh.
